OV-chipkaart doesn't currently support 2FA. If you're sharing access, the canonical fixes are below — but the better long-term answer is to ask OV-chipkaart to add 2FA.

What to do when OV-chipkaart won't 2FA.
- 01Use Kaito to enforce per-user access. Even without 2FA, Kaito gives you a record of who logged in to OV-chipkaart when, via the audit log of password retrievals.
- 02Use a strong, unique, long password. Generate it with a password manager. Never reuse it.

support@ov-chipkaart.nland ask for 2FA. Volume is the only way these get prioritized.
Compliance
Sharing tolerated for OV-chipkaart
